Loading... Please wait...Established in 1996, Tasco is a privately owned, medium sized timber manufacturer.
A member of Dongwha International, Tasco supplies products to both the domestic and export markets through our sawmilling and remanufacturing facilities in Geelong (Vic) and Bombala (NSW).
Products
Tasco’s origins were based upon its ability to process pine logs traditionally used in the production of pulp and paper, converting them into high quality appearance grade timber. Through the introduction of precision fixed saw technology previously unseen in Australia, Tasco has been able to take a valuable sustainable forest resource; process, re-manufacture and sell the finished timber both domestically and overseas.
At Tasco, we realise the production of quality pine timber involves more than just the structural properties of the fibre; we understand that it must be visually appealing as well. Our quality assurance procedures are the cornerstone of our operations. We specialise in producing quality products in both the untreated and preservative treated forms.
We take absolute pride in our products - and even more satisfaction in sharing them with our customers.
Sustainability
Tasco was created from the need to produce quality timber product from small diameter pine saw logs sourced from sustainable forest plantations. The company is dedicated to a 100% renewable resource for the production of timber.
Manufacture of timber from renewable/sustainable forest plantations has become a viable replacement for native forest timbers both in Australia and around the world due to its flexibility and large variety of uses.
It is our responsibility to develop new timber products for our customers and help deliver the message that Australian made timber from sustainable plantation resource is an excellent building product. Through education, research and developing new applications for timber products, Tasco’s dream is to help create a cleaner, healthier and safer environment for the generations to come. This is in line with parent company Dongwha International ‘s values of Happiness; Trust; Valuing talented people; Change and Innovation and Ethical Management.
Innovation
We are a progressive wood processing company, and this is reflected in our production technology, which is fully automated and world standard.
Through the introduction of precision fixed saw technology, Tasco has been able to take a valuable plantation forest resource and process, re-manufacture and sell the finished product to Australia and markets around the world.
Flexibility
Tasco assesses opportunities as they arise and moves quickly to achieve customer expectations. Flexibility is one of the keys to our success. We challenge ourselves each day to meet the needs of our customers by providing best service and outdoor timber products of the highest quality.
We pride ourselves on doing things a little differently and being willing to try new concepts.
